Right now, I'm booking projects one month in advance, with a deposit required at the time of booking to secure your start date and timeline. 

Template customizations average 2-4 weeks, and custom website designs average 6-8 weeks (the timeline is dependent upon website page count and custom additions).

A Quick Note:  As someone who struggles with impatience and getting intimidated by large "endless" timelines, I've made it the goal of Larks Atelier to give a clear cut and exciting timeline to my clients. Though I do the heavy lifting of creating your new space, website design is a collaborative endeavor and will require timely feedback on necessary revisions/homework from you as the client in order to ensure a quick and high quality turnaround.

Because I do not know what exactly I'd be walking into in regards to the content of your website, the answer is no.

In order to build a cohesive appearance with a high-converting design strategy, I work from scratch with fully custom website designs or use your chosen template as the foundation for our website creation. 

I build websites using the Showit platform. After six years of working with this platform, I have found it to be the smoothest transition from designer to client for ease of use when your design is complete. This is important to me as a designer, because I want you to be empowered and have the choice to continue using me for maintenance or complete necessary changes/updates on your own. 

The Showit platform also seamlessly integrates with WordPress for blogging, which means you get the design flexibility of Showit with the SEO power of WordPress.

This platform also allows for me as your designer to completely customize the mobile responsiveness of your website, meaning that your audience accessing from mobile devices won't lose out on quality and a stunning website experience.

As of right now, I do not provide branding outside of a wordmark logo, color palette, and typography (as a service add-on) for my clients. Though, you can be on the lookout for a more detailed branding package in the future!

In regards to copywriting, I provide templates for my clients to help with their brand voice and website copywriting. If you find that this is still time consuming and holding you back, I would highly encourage you to use a professional copywriter (psst, I do know of some pretty great ones).

Every website design service includes photo optimization (using JPEG mini), page titles, and making sure your H1, H2, H3, Paragraph, and Navigation hierarchies are all optimized.
