ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Hi, I'm Brittany - a wife and mother - and the founder of Larks Atelier.
I began my artistic career as a photographer - heavily involved with the wedding industry. For years it brought me joy as I documented soul-stirring love stories (while probably eating my bodyweight in cake).
After awhile, I began to face creative burnout - the spark I once felt with photography was swiftly beginning to fade...replaced with nights redesigning my own website (yes, for fun) and conversations with fellow creatives on the burnout and frustrations they, too, faced.
Little did I know, in the midst of those conversations and ideas (fueled by absurd amounts of caffeine) was where the core of Larks Atelier's mission would be forged, and that my habitual website overhauls were the breadcrumbs that would lead me to starting a web design business. Here we are.

Larks Atelier was created by a photographer to serve as a space for photographers to rise beyond the trap of comparison and strategically place their artistry top of mind for their ideal clients - through website designs that reflect the essence of your brand and strategies crafted to inspire growth.
The creation of Larks Atelier was inspired by the unique problems we face as artists, to serve our clients in full connection while standing out in the noise and vulnerably putting the heart of our artistry into the world. We were never meant to blend in.
More personally, Larks Atelier was created as an ongoing love letter to myself and to my children - to never stop learning, to never be afraid of faithfully venturing into the unforeseen plans of our Heavenly Father, and to push the boundaries of your own artistry. Pivoting leads to growth & grand adventures.

I don't always rock the sweatpants and the mom bun, chugging coffee while knee deep in creating beautiful websites...

My greatest blessing is to be married to my incredibly supportive golden retriever of a husband, and the mother to the sweetest toddler boy (who we think might secretly be on a mission to become the next Ninja Warrior).
Together, we are an unstoppable force of adventure - spending our days in the Alaska wilderness hiking, skiing, camping, paddle-boarding, and taking long drives. It's quite the little life.
We are a military family, so running my own business is an incredible blessing - allowing me to give more stability to my family while living a life with swiftly changing seasons.
